Photographer Call 2027

An open invitation to share the way you see the natural world.

The environmental calendar is built on images that hold still long enough to matter. Each year, a new set of photographs gives shape to the months ahead.

This is an open call. One photograph. Your perspective on the natural world.

What this call is about

The Motmot Nature environmental calendar is a living document. Each edition gathers images from photographers who observe nature with patience and intention.

For 2027, we open the calendar to every nature photographer willing to share a single image. There are no requirements, no fees, no competition. Just an invitation to participate.

One photograph per person. That is all we ask.

How it works

Three simple steps. Nothing more.

Photographer sharing nature work

You share

Submit one nature photograph through the form below. Any subject, any technique, any location. The only condition is that it comes from your own observation of the natural world.

Editorial curation of nature photographs

We curate

Our editorial team reviews every submission with care. We look for images that hold attention, that breathe with the rhythm of the calendar, that speak quietly.

Nature calendar with credited photographs

The calendar grows

Selected photographs become part of the 2027 environmental calendar. Each image is credited to its author and shared with the community throughout the year.

Submit your photograph

The submission form will open soon. One photograph per participant. Free, with no requirements.

Leave your image here when the time comes.

Every photograph carries a way of seeing. The calendar is simply a place where those ways of seeing come together, quietly, month after month.

We look forward to seeing what you notice.
